Departmenf of strategic planning and development has the following scope of work:
It formulates a business strategy for NOSBiH which is to be considered and approved by General Director.
It prepares and compiles Indicative Generation Development Plan.
It provides a strategic input for a business plan of NOSBiH.
It cooperates with the system users and the market participants, with SERC and international organizations regarding the market and the system development.
It evaluates options and plans relating reconstruction of power sector in BiH and analyzes their influences on NOSBiH.
It analyzes options relating the development of electricity market in BiH and analyzes their influences on NOSBiH.
It analyzes options and plans for regional market in southeast Europe and analyzes their influences on NOSBiH.
It evaluates options for detailed development of balance market / mechanisms in BiH and other commercial arrangements managed by NOSBiH.
It makes reassessment of the Connection Study and of Long term Development Plan of the Transmission System.
It develops technical rules and other technical codex and agreements important for a proper work of balance arrangements and other NOSBiH’s obligations.
It supervises the fulfillment of these rules and codex and proposes the changes if necessary.
