Pursuant to the Law Establishing Independent System Operator for the Transmission System in Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Official Gazette of BiH", 35/04 – Article 7) and the Market Rules – Article 50, Independent System Operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a new version of the Market Rules.

Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Vedran Lakić visited NOSBiH on September 24, 2024. He discussed current projects and activities related to the electric power sector, as well as the stability of the BiH energy system, with General Director Nemanja Pandurević and his colleagues. In the main Dispatch Center of NOSBiH, he got acquainted with the work processes of this center, from which the management and balancing of the electric power system of BiH is carried out, as well as the flow of electricity exchange with other countries.

Nemanja Pandurević, the General Director of the Independent System Operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina, participated as a member of the delegation from BiH in an informal meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Energy Community held on July 3, 2024, in Banja Luka, during Bosnia and Herzegovina's presidency of the Energy Community.
The informal meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Energy Community was chaired by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, Staša Košarac, and the Deputy Director-General of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Energy Mechthild Wörsdörfer.

On May 21, 2024. Director of the Secretariat of the Energy Community Artur Lorkowski and his deputy Dirk Buschle, accompanied by the renewable energy expert Ms. Naida Taso visited NOSBiH. The guests were received by the General Director of NOSBiH Nemanja Pandurević, Board members Muhamed Mujakić and Ana Marić, and Adnan Muharemović, assistant manager of the Sector for Real-Time System Management.

At the meeting of the State Regulatory Commission for Electric Energy held on April 9, 2024, a Decision approving the Rules for Suspension and Resumption of Market Activities was adopted. The Decision can be downloaded at the link provided, and the Rules are available on the Market->Documents page.
The leading conference in the Balkans, dedicated to the promotion of green energy and environmental protection, called "Balkan Solar Summit", was held on February 8 and 9 in Banja Luka. Director General Nemanja Pandurević, as well as representatives of NOSBiH, actively participated in the conference.

Smart networks and meters, energy storage, solar for citizens and the economy, and financing projects in this area were the most important topics of the Sarajevo Energy Forum 2024, (SFF 2024), which was held on January 30 and 31 this year.
Representatives of NOSBiH as well as other leaders of the energy transition from BiH and neighboring countries participated in this important energy gathering. Recommendations have been sent from SEF on how BiH and neighboring countries can achieve the largest possible share of clean energy in total production.
