Director Pandurević at Informal Meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Energy Community in Banja Luka

Nemanja Pandurević, the General Director of the Independent System Operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina, participated as a member of the delegation from BiH in an informal meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Energy Community held on July 3, 2024, in Banja Luka, during Bosnia and Herzegovina’s presidency of the Energy Community.

The informal meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Energy Community was chaired by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, Staša Košarac, and the Deputy Director-General of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy Mechthild Wörsdörfer.

The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Energy and Mining of Republika Srpska, Petar Đokić, the Minister of Energy, Mining, and Industry of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vedran Lakić, the Director of the Energy Community Secretariat, Artur Lorkovski, and representatives of Energy Community member countries.

Current topics in the energy sector were discussed during the meeting, such as the electricity market, preparations for the upcoming winter focusing on supply security, as well as the introduction of ETS and CBAM.
