Public discussion held: Integration of Intermittent Renewable Energy Sources
Public discussion on integration of intermittent Renewable Energy Sources (iRES) and on introducing their maximum integration was held on 23rd June 2020 at NOSBiH premises in Sarajevo.
NOSBiH representatives presented the Analysis of iRES integration into the EES BiH and explained reasons for increasing maximum integration of iRES and this was followed by a discussion with participants at the public session where NOSBiH representatives additionally supported NOSBiH opinions on this matter.

Public discussion: Integration of Intermittent Renewable Energy Sources
Since the epidemiological situation is improving and the state of emergency has ceased to have effect and is therefore possible to organize a meeting with restricted capacity while respecting epidemiological measurements, NOSBiH has decided to organize the public discussion on Tuesday, 23rd June 2020 at its business premises (Hifzi Bjelevca Street, 17, Sarajevo) at 11:00hrs.
In order to organize the meeting in accordance with current protective measures that also imply physical distance, we kindly ask you to confirm your arrival and provide the number of persons attending the meeting at the email address: n.janic@nosbih.ba
The public discussion will include the discussion of the analysis’ results and the proposal of increasing integration of generation, as requested by SERC, and additional explanations will be given on the Methodology and possible financial effects resulting out of the increased tariff rate quota for ancillary services.

SERC Adopted a Decision Approving Indicative Generation Development Plan for period from 2021 – 2030
At its session held on 27th May 2020, the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC), adopted a Decision Approving Indicative Generation Development Plan for period from 2021 – 2030 (number 05-28-13-388-15/19).

SERC adopted a Decision of the Tariff for Operation of NOSBiH for 2020
At its session held on 25th March 2020, the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC), acting in line with its responsibilities established by the law, adopted a Decision on the Tariff for Operation of the Independent System Operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2020.

Postponed Public Discussion: Analysis of nOIE integration into the EESBiH
Due to the new situation related to the COVID-19, NOSBiH in coordination with the State Electricity Regulatory Commission have decided to postpone the public discussion "Analysis of nOIE integration into the EESBiH" scheduled for 2nd April 2020.
The public will be timely informed about the new date of the public discussion.
USAID Representatives visited NOSBiH
USAID – the US Agency for International Development at the end of last year launched the Project related to Assistance to the Energy Sector- EPA. Within the Project the USAID is expecting partnership with main authorities within the Energy Sector in BiH. Due to this reason the USAID Representatives visited NOSBiH.
Director of the USAID BiH Economic Department Andrew Boegel, USAID/BiH Project Manager Ankica Gavrilović, Director of the USAID EPA Project Mak Kamenica and their associates met with NOSBiH General Director Milodrag Košarac and NOSBiH Management Members Ana Marić and Muhamed Mujakić.

Scheduled Presentation of Indicative Generation Development Plan for the period 2020 – 2029
Pursuant to the Law Establishing Independent System Operator for the Transmission System in Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Official Gazette of BiH", 35/04 – Article 7, point 11 – NOSBiH's Powers) and the Grid Code, Independent System Operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina prepared the Proposal of Indicative Generation Development Plan for the period 2020 – 2029.
The presentation of this proposal will be held in Sarajevo on 12th April 2019, at 11:00 hrs, at NOSBiH premises, address: Hifzi Bjelevca 17.
