Establishment of the Association of lawyers in the Energy Sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina
The energy transition, harmonization with the acquis of the European Union and the establishment of the electricity exchange are the key challenges for the energy sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As a response to these processes, the Energy Law Association was founded, with headquarters in Istočno Sarajevo, as a professional association of legal experts specialized in the field of energy, with the aim of providing professional support for improving the legislative framework, strengthening regulatory security and encouraging investments in the energy sector.
The establishment of the Association comes at a time of intense changes and reforms in the energy sector, which are primarily focused on the process of energy transition, harmonization of domestic regulations with European regulations and strengthening of market mechanisms.
The initiative board consists of legal experts and practitioners from the energy sector. The Association of Lawyers in the Energy Sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina will act as a platform for professional dialogue, exchange of knowledge and initiation of proposals for the improvement of the regulatory framework, with the aim of ensuring stable, transparent and sustainable development of the energy sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
NOSBiH remains dedicated to strengthening institutional cooperation and supporting all initiatives that contribute to a successful energy transition and the development of the electricity market in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
