Report on the work of the Technical Commission on Amendments to the Grid Code

The Technical Commission on Amendments to the Grid Code was appointed on 22nd August 2016, as on 18th July 2016 each licensed market participant was sent an invitation to propose its representative to the Technical Commission until 12th August 2016.

On the day of their appointment, 22nd August 2016, all members of the Technical Commission were sent the Decision on setting up the Commission, the Invitation to the first meeting and the Agenda – scheduled for 15th September 2016, the Draft of the new Grid Code and The Rules of Procedure of the Technical Commission. The Invitation to the meeting and the Draft of the new Grid Code were published on NOSBiH’s web site.

Members of the Technical Commission could have sent their comments on the proposed Draft of the Grid Code until 7th September 2016, and the Working Group for Amendments to the Grid Code composed of experts from NOSBiH and Elektroprijenos BiH, which proposed the Draft of the Grid Code, sent their answers to the members of the Technical Commission on 12th September 2016.

At the meeting of the Technical Commission held on 15th September 2016 there was a discussion on the members’ comments, and on the next day 16th September the members of the Commission were submitted the meeting minutes, the Grid Code with all modifications as agreed at the meeting and the table containing comments and suggestions.

On 22nd September 2016 the Technical Commission was invited to the second meeting scheduled for 5th October 2016. The invitation was accompanied by the Draft of the new Grid Code including all approved comments. In addition, on 23rd September 2016 on NOSBiH web site it was published the invitation to the second meeting of the Technical Commission and the Draft of the Grid Code.

The second meeting of the Technical Commission was hold on 5th October 2016. Next day, on 6th October 2016, the members of the Commission were delivered the meeting minutes, the table containing comments and suggestions and the amended Grid Code that would be sent for approval after it had been proofread.
