The State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) has approved the following rules for the allocation of cross-border transmission capacities:
- Rules for the annual and monthly auctions for the allocation of transmission capacities at the border between the bidding zones of EMS AD Belgrade (EMS) and the Independent System Operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina (NOSBiH)
- Rules for the daily auctions for the allocation of transmission capacities at the border between the bidding zones of EMS AD Belgrade (EMS) and the Independent System Operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina (NOSBiH)
- Rules for the intraday allocation of transmission capacities at the border between the bidding zones of the Independent System Operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina (NOSBiH) and EMS AD Belgrade (EMS)
The rules can be downloaded from the Capacities > Documents page and will apply to capacity allocations for the year 2022.
The use of capacities allocated through the annual and monthly auctions is based on the “Use It or Sell It” (UIOSI) principle.
