Balkan Solar Summit 2026

Balkan Solar Summit, the leading conference dedicated to promotion and development of renewable energy in the region, was held on 26th and 27th February 2026 in Banja Luka.
The event, as in previous years, brought together many experts, business leaders, decision makers and representatives of relevant institutions with the aim of exchanging knowledge and experience and improving cooperation in the field of developing sustainable energy solutions.

General Director Nemanja Pandurević, as well as representatives of the Independent System Operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina (NOSBiH) actively participated in the conference.

NOSBiH advisor, Mr. Merim Džizić, participated in the panel discussion “Energy aggregation and storage”, in which eminent experts discussed the importance of aggregation and energy storage systems for the stability of the electric power system, increasing the flexibility of the electricity market, as well as for accelerating the integration of renewable energy sources.

Senior expert associate for affairs in the field of energy, Mr. Predrag Nosović, participated in the panel “Flexible contracts for connection”, where a discussion was held on new models of connection to the power grid and the possibilities of applying flexible contracts with the aim of more efficient implementation of projects and reduction of congestion in the network.

Through a series of thematic sessions and panel discussions, conference participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest trends, regulatory frameworks and technological solutions in the field of solar energy, as well as the challenges and opportunities for further development of renewable energy sources in the region.
