Direct managing of the system in real time is handled from the Dispatch center and it includes managing of the system at voltage levels: 400kV, 220kV and 110kV and managing of the balancing market.

Monitoring and managing are performed constantly, twenty four hours a day during a week from the main Dispatch center in order to ensure continuous supply of electricity and its transmission in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The managing of the EES can also be performed from the backup Dispatch center of NOSBiH.

Dispatchers are permitted to take any measures necessary in order to prevent cascading faults or the power grid failure.
