The Independent System Operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina (NOSBiH) hosted the ICTC Committee Meeting (ICTC – Information and Communication Technology Committee) on March 19 and 20, 2025, within the framework of ENTSO-E – the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity.
During the two-day event, representatives of Transmission System Operators (TSOs) from across Europe gathered in Sarajevo to exchange professional experiences, discuss current ICT challenges, and align strategic directions for the development of information and communication technologies in the electricity sector.
The first day of the meeting was held in a productive and professional atmosphere, with constructive discussions and planning of future activities. After the working session, a panoramic walking tour of Sarajevo was organized, giving guests the opportunity to explore the rich history and cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s capital.
On the second day, following the meeting, participants visited the premises of NOSBiH, where key segments of operations were presented, including the dispatch center, the infrastructure managed by NOSBiH, and the ICT systems in use. This visit provided insight into the technical and organizational capacities of NOSBiH and enabled the exchange of experience with fellow European TSOs.
Hosting this important meeting represents further recognition of NOSBiH’s role in regional and European integration processes in the energy sector.
